“I liked his profile and then he liked mine. We started talking and hit it off like two peas in a pod!” remembers Bethan, who met Sam on Christian Connection. Like so many #MetOnCC stories, theirs began with a simple ‘hello’. If you’re wondering how Christian Connection members go from creating their profiles to walking down the aisle, couples explain in their own words how they connected online with their faith at the centre, and decided to join their lives together. Be encouraged and inspired by their stories!

Bethan & Sam
“I just wanted to say thank you to your wonderful website. On here 4 years ago I started talking to my Now Husband! We were only an hour away from each other and we made it work! I really loved having a Christian platform to talk to other Christians where it was to make friends or find “the one”! My Husband is so lovely and we’ve just celebrated our 1 year anniversary!
Sam and I met on Christian Connection 3 years ago in 2022. Couldn’t believe that I actually met a decent guy! We started dating and 11 months in he proposed! We then got married a year later in the September. Now we have just celebrated our first anniversary and I am so grateful to God for blessing us this way. Thank you Christian Connection!”
Inem & Ukachukwu
Here’s Inemesit and Ukachukwu’s love story in their own words, which they describe as beginning “in the most 21st-century way, which was through a swipe on Christian Connection”.
“While on a break during a long 12-hour shift, Uka came across Inem’s profile. Something about her caught his eye, so he took a chance and slid into her DMs. Little did he know, that message would change both their lives. When he got home that night, they had their very first phone call that stretched into the early hours of the morning as they talked about everything and nothing, instantly at ease, like old friends who were finally finding their way back to each other.
At the time, they lived in different cities but distance was not enough to slow them down. Just two days after that phone call, they met up at a Turkish restaurant for their first date.
And from the moment they saw each other in person, it just clicked. They spent hours talking, laughing, sharing stories, the kind of date you wish wouldn’t end. But eventually, the restaurant had to close and they had to say goodbye (reluctantly).
That one date turned into many more. And within a month, Uka asked Inem to be his girlfriend. They both knew what they wanted, and it felt right.
More than two years have passed since that first message. They have walked through life side by side, supporting each other and growing together. Now, after everything, Ukachukwu has asked Inemesit to be his wife and the rest of forever is theirs to enjoy.”
John & Ruth
“I joined Christian Connection in January and got chatting to John in February after he sent me a like and said hi. We clicked straight away and met up fairly quickly. I wasn’t sure about him but we kept chatting and our relationship grew until we decided to meet each other’s kids – just as friends. We all got on so well, this really clinched it for me (John had been certain from day 1!).
We’ve officially been together for 2 months now and our relationship gets stronger every time we see each other – which is every weekend now. Our kids love being together and it feels like we have one big family. The more we find out about each other, the more we find we have in common. We’re really growing in love and both so happy

Al & Billie
“Billie and I met online in January 2025. It was love at first sight on the first date. We have similar faith values, similar interests. We got married in November and are extremely happy.”
